Verizon Pantech Razzle

Verizon Pantech Razzle cell phone looks like it will be a great messaging device. What is on the other side of the keyboard?

I was referring to the swivel portion of the phone, seems pointless and more of a gimmick than a useful feature.

But I’m sure teenage girls are going to love the pink if they wanna sell. New Verizon Phones – Pantech Razzle has a QWERTY keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Media Center Player, and VZ Navigator and the other side with speakers and music playback controls.

The Verizon Razzle will launch for Verizon on October for $60.

Vodafone iPhone

Vodafone iPhone from expect to see early 2010 this comes just hours after rival Orange announced it would become the first network to grab the iPhone from 02.
vodafone-iphone-from-expect-to-see-early-2010
A spokesperson for Vodafone said the firm was “delighted” and that the phone will be aimed at existing Vodafone customers.

Without securing the rights to the iPhone, Vodafone would have ultimately seen the loss of hundreds of customers to other Apple stockists, including it’s two main competitors, 02 and Orange. Vodafones Cheif Executive said ” not having the iPhone was a key reason why the operator lost 159,000 customers in its last quarter”.

Opening up the phone to numerous networks will undoubtedly result in a battle to provide the cheapest service. Research shows that in every country where there is more than one operator selling the iPhone, it is cheaper. Obviously, this will provide better deals for customers, but it could be very disruptive to the mobile market.

It set to hit retail stores in Korea beginning next month and will also be known as the Samsung AMOLED 12M.

Unfortunately, an international release wasn’t mentioned in the announcement so there’s a possibility that this might be exclusive phone to Korea. We’re definitely hoping that the contrary will be true, but if this is the case, then we’re pinning our hopes on the Sony Ericsson Satio, another 12-megapixel camera phone, to hit the North American market sooner than later.

Motorola CLIQ would be launching on T-Mobile November 11th

CLIQ would launch in October and while the timeline was official it was outdated - a new timeline clearly illustrated an October release. The logical conclusion is that T-Mobile will open up the pre-order for existing customers in mid-October and we’ll find it on the shelves November 11th

TMOtoday learned that T-Mobile employees would seen be getting trained on the CLIQ with an internal contest offering knowledgeable employees a chance to win the device.

HTC Predator Verizon Android Phone ???

rumor was spilled by BGR and supposedly this phone could come as soon as October for HTC Predator, T-Mobile is the market leader when it comes to American Androids, offering 2 models (G1/MyTouch) and with a guaranteed 3rd on the way (CLIQ). For Verizon to launch 4 Android Phones by year end would be nothing short of astonishing.

The main reason I have a glimmer of hope about all this is because we’re talking about HTC. The HTC that has more experience with Android than any other company in the world - besides Google of course. The HTC that has lined up a CDMA version of the HERO at Sprint which elminates or downplays the technology barrier.

Quick Search Box for Android

new system-wide search framework, which makes it possible for users to quickly and easily find what they're looking for, both on their devices and on the web. It suggests content on your device as you type, like apps, contacts, browser history, and music. It also offers results from the web search suggestions, local business listings, and other info from Google, such as stock quotes, weather, and flight status. All of this is available right from the home screen, by tapping on Quick Search Box (QSB).

What we're most excited about with this new feature is the ability for you, the developers, to leverage the QSB framework to provide quicker and easier access to the content inside your apps. Your apps can provide search suggestions that will surface to users in QSB alongside other search results and suggestions. This makes it possible for users to access your application's content from outside your application—for example, from the home screen.

XSKN iKeyboard For iPhone

XSKN has produced a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod touch namely the iKeyboard. The device is actually a modified Apple Bluetooth keyboard featuring icons on the keys. XSKN will release the iKeyboard by the end of the year for $160 a pop.

F-keys
have stenciled icons for the standard iPhone tasks (Mail, Safari, etc), and the keyboard letters have logos for some of the most popular iPhone apps. It actually doesn’t look too bad, but there’s no way to customize the icons. I’ve never used LinkedIn, so it would seem pointless blazoned all over my L key.

XSKN has produced a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod touch namely the iKeyboard. The device is actually a modified Apple Bluetooth keyboard featuring icons on the keys.According to XSKN they are hoping to launch the iKeyboard by the end of the year for $160, this seems a bit optimistic to be honest, as Apple may not add support to the iPhone and iPod touch for Bluetooth keyboards.

XSKN says that it’s currently working with a U.S. engineering firm that specializes in “Made for iPod” stamps. Of course, it’s also waiting on that pending Bluetooth driver—as are rivals like the $100 MacAlly BTKeyMini.
