Garmin decided to jump into cell phone market after seeing the GPS market is shrinking year-by-year as there are more and more phones capable of providing GPS navigation. So, Garmin partnered with Asus and togethery they released the Nuvifone G60, which will be available at AT&T Stores pretty soon.

The Nuvifone G60 is a GPS phone with excellent and complete GPS system that provides turn-by-turn driving directions, traffic warnings and a search engine that can suggest nearby gas stations, restaurants and and other places of interest.

Vodafone iPhone from expect to see early 2010 this comes just hours after rival Orange announced it would become the first network to grab the iPhone from 02.

A spokesperson for Vodafone said the firm was “delighted” and that the phone will be aimed at existing Vodafone customers.

Without securing the rights to the iPhone, Vodafone would have ultimately seen the loss of hundreds of customers to other Apple stockists, including it’s two main competitors, 02 and Orange. Opening up the phone to numerous networks will undoubtedly result in a battle to provide the cheapest service. Research shows that in every country where there is more than one operator selling the iPhone, it is cheaper. Obviously, this will provide better deals for customers, but it could be very disruptive to the mobile market.

Palm has released webOS 1.2, a new version of the system software for the Palm Pre, offering a number of improvements to the Palm Pre’s operating system.

Samsung is preparing to launch another entry-level phone for the mass market. It is called Samsung C5130, a slider phone that doesn’t look too different from the other entry-level sliders announced by the South Korean company until now.

Motorola Sholes has passed the test of the FCC and is ready to hit the streets for everyone. Motorola Sholes is another handset that the mobile phone maker should soon introduce on the market running under Google’s Android operating system.

Motorola’s MB200 & MB300 Android confirmation of the info is expected later today at the Motorola Android event in San Francisco.

For now, it looks like both devices will run Google OS and will feature full QWERTY keyboards. Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity will also be present. The Motorola MB200 is the cheaper device offering Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz processor, touchscreen with 320×480 resolution and a VGA camera.

Google announced today that with Google Voice you can now receive SMS messages on your phones and in your Google Voice inbox, Google has also gone one step further by allowing you to get text messages by email. After enabling SMS-to-email forwarding, every time you receive a new SMS on your Google Voice number, we will send you an email notification.

S4BB Limited released first free game for BlackBerry Storm "BlackHole" with cool little game where you simply navigate objects into a ... you guessed it ... black hole. Nothing revolutionary, but it is a great time killer and a ton of fun to play. There are 9 levels with varying theme and difficulty, as well as user and high score management.

The game is currently only available for the Storm, and both OTA and desktop download links are available.

HTC just announced ANOTHER Android Phone they call them “HTC Tattoo” It is the second HTC Android phone that run’s their custom build of Android called HTC Sense - the first was the HTC Hero. HTC Tattoo-Android Phone includes a 3.2MP camera, 3.5mm headset jack, expandable MicroSD and all the great features of Android.

HTC Tattoo-Android Phone comes with a relatively small 2.8-inch LCD 240×320 QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3.5mm jack, microSD card slot, and runs on a Qualcomm 528MHz MSM7225 processor supported by 256MB RAM/512MB ROM. It also boasts of GPS capabilities, quad-band GSM/EDGE, 900/2100MHz HSPA/UMTS network compatibility, and will ship with HTC Sense installed already.

Pricing and Availability
HTC Tattoo will be available in Europe first at the beginning of October, and will roll out in markets around the world in the following months.

Galaxy Lite is a toned down version of the original Galaxy but is still very capable. It has a 3.2MP camera and 1GB internal memory compared to the original Galaxy’s 5MP/8GB setup.

Considering many people don’t use their phone as their main camera and memory is expandable via MicroSD, plenty will enjoy the cost savings while still getting a very nice piece of hardware. And those colors? AIRS says they’re not likely to appear on market ready Galaxy Lites but I kind of like the look - definitely a standout distinctive look. Why not offer it as an option?
